Abstract
Human flourishing and well-being aspects clearly form parts of the fulfillment of life, which in the corporate world, have erroneously taken a backstage role to performance and profit. This paper seeks to explore a vision that brings together human flourishing and corporate well-being from a humanities viewpoint through the weaving of philosophical, psychological, and cultural components for a more balanced and humane approach to work life. This paper draws on the premise of both classical and contemporary theories on well-being, as well as examples from the corporate world of how an environment conducive to purpose, creativity, and ethical leadership can do much to enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall organizational success. Here, the argument would be for a paradigm shift in corporate culture that would value not merely profits but also the well-being and flourishing of individuals within the organization.
Keywords
Human Flourishing, Well-Being, Corporate Culture, Humanities Perspective, Ethical Leadership.
Conclusion
Human flourishing in the corporate world is important, not just for the employees' welfare but also to sustain organizations in the long term. Combining the principles of humanities driven by empathy, creativity, leadership based on ethical groundings, and purpose-led work creates culture that fosters the growth, innovation, and well-being of its people. The outcomes include higher job satisfaction, retention, effective productivity, and a good image in the market.
In the end, a humanities approach offers a guide for a future in which firms understand their responsibility to promote flourishing alongside profitability, leading towards healthier, sustainable work environments for all.
