Author Guidelines

At Apex Academia Press, we aim to provide a seamless and professional publishing experience for authors. Our focus is to promote high-quality, peer-reviewed research across multiple disciplines. To help you prepare and submit your manuscript efficiently, we have outlined the following author guidelines. Please ensure that all instructions are followed carefully to avoid delays in the review and publication process.

1. Language and Style
  • Primary Language : All submissions must be in English. Authors should choose either American or British English, but be consistent throughout the manuscript.
  • Tone and Clarity : Write with clarity and precision. Avoid jargon and overly complex sentences unless necessary. Manuscripts should be accessible to a broad academic audience, regardless of their specific field.
2. Manuscript Length
  • Word Limit : Submissions should be between 3000 to 8000 words. Articles exceeding this range will be returned to the authors for revision.
  • Formatting : Manuscripts should be typed in double spacing on A4-sized paper. Margins should be set at 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
3. Title Page

The title page should be submitted separately and should include :

  • Title : Keep the title concise, informative, and reflective of the research. Avoid abbreviations and special characters unless universally understood in your field.
  • Author Information : Provide the full names (given and family names) and academic or professional affiliations of all authors. Each affiliation should be indicated with a superscript number and corresponding address.
  • Corresponding Author : Clearly identify the corresponding author with their full contact details (email address, telephone number, and mailing address).
  • Sponsorship : If applicable, include any funding or organizational sponsorship relevant to the research.
4. Abstract
  • Length : The abstract should be no longer than 250 words.
  • Content : Summarize the objective, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study. The abstract should be able to stand alone without referencing figures, tables, or references. It must capture the essence of the research.
5. Keywords
  • Number of Keywords : Include 5-10 keywords immediately after the abstract.
  • Selection : Choose keywords that accurately describe the main topics of your research, focusing on specific and relevant terms. Avoid generic terms or multiple concepts in a single keyword.
6. Main Text Structure

Organize your manuscript with clearly defined sections :

  • Introduction : Provide a concise background, outlining the problem, the research question, and the significance of your work.
  • Methodology : Detail the methods and materials used, ensuring that they are clear and replicable. For clinical or animal research, include ethical approval information.
  • Results : Present the findings logically and clearly. Use headings and subheadings to organize this section effectively.
  • Discussion : Reflect on the findings, comparing them with existing research. Address any limitations and suggest future research directions.
  • Conclusion : Summarize the main findings and their implications for the field.
  • Each of these sections should be numbered and divided by relevant subheadings for clarity
7. Figures and Tables
  • Placement : Figures and tables should be included at the end of the manuscript or within the text where they are first referenced.
  • Quality : Ensure that all figures and tables are of high resolution, legible, and appropriately labeled. Include figure captions and table titles.
  • Color : We recommend using black and white for all figures as the article may be published in black-and-white print.
8. References
  • Citation Style : Follow the Harvard (author-date) citation style. Citations in the text should include the author’s surname and the year of publication (e.g., Smith, 2020).
  • Reference List : Include a full reference list at the end of the manuscript, arranged alphabetically by author. Each reference should include the full details (author name(s), publication year, article title, journal name, volume, pages, DOI, and URL if applicable).
  • Avoid Over-Citation : Ensure that references are relevant and up to date. Do not excessively cite self-published works or from the same author(s) unless critical for the topic.
