Eligibility Criteria

Fellow Membership is designed for highly accomplished professionals and academics who have made significant contributions to their field. Applicants must possess a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) or its equivalent in a relevant area of study. They should have a strong academic record, with at least 10 publications in prestigious, peer-reviewed journals. Citations play a key role in evaluating the applicant’s influence, and candidates are expected to have at least 100 citations. Beyond publications, applicants must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to research and scholarly activities, ensuring that they are at the forefront of their respective fields. Experience as an editorial board member or peer reviewer is also highly regarded, as it indicates active involvement in advancing the academic community. A minimum of five years of professional experience post-Ph.D. is also required.

Application Process

The application process for Fellow Membership begins with submitting a comprehensive application package, which includes a detailed CV, a list of publications, and a summary of ongoing research activities. Applicants must also provide letters of recommendation from established academics or professionals in their field, attesting to their contributions and achievements. Once submitted, the application undergoes a rigorous review by the IASR Membership Committee, who assess the candidate’s qualifications, achievements, and overall impact on the academic community. If selected, the applicant will receive a formal invitation to become a Fellow, along with a certificate and a designation such as "Fellow of IASR" (F.IASR).

Fellows are held to the highest ethical standards, reflecting the values of IASR and the academic community. They must conduct their work with integrity, ensuring that their research and professional activities adhere to established ethical guidelines. Fellows are expected to promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity in all IASR-related activities. They should maintain confidentiality in their dealings with manuscripts, research data, and organizational matters. If a Fellow has a conflict of interest, they must disclose it to the appropriate authorities and recuse themselves from any decisions where impartiality may be compromised. Furthermore, Fellows should be committed to fostering the advancement of knowledge while adhering to the principles of fairness and academic integrity.
